Coatdress

It was one of the style rules that I broke this spring season: Outerwear Is Strictly For Layering. Let your coat be the focus of our next outfit by keeping your accessories to a minimum.
You could see my lightweight button-through blue coat here, here and here.
In this first shot it's worn as a dress.

Inspiration Monday

This time for Inspiration Monday Two Birds gave us Stacy Keibler with a completely casual and laid-back summer outfit. So I tried to adapt it my way.

Be bright. Be you.

Sometimes if you are going somewhere and want to blend in, you could wear normal clothes, but if you want to visually stand out, you could wear a bold outfit. This time I chose "bold" as the opposite of "shy".
I  rarely wear these neon pink jeans because I'm usually too shy and want to be age-appropriate.
I hope I have "class, not trash" and no one will say "from behind that women has a teenager style but from the front she has a geriatric face" or even worse, "body off Baywatch, face off Crimewatch".

Floral mood # 5

This is the fifth Floral Moods post. Here you can see all of my "Floral Moods".
So this time I tried to keep it casual and mixed the floral midi skirt with a white tank top and a denim jacket. Also, for comfort, I didn't use heels, I went with pointed toe flats.

Inspiration Monday

Back to Inspiration Monday, and for this time Two Birds chose Gwyneth Paltrow. In my opinion she is a brilliant actress.
I don't have any blazers, so I went kind of inside out with this look, and mixed my white jacket with blue V-neck tee and strappy sandals that I normally wouldn't put on with boyfriend jeans.

Cargo vest+ maxi skirt

In recent years I have often read that cargo vests are very versatile items that can make almost any simple outfit have a funky edge, also that this piece is ideal for layering and dressing an outfit up or down.
My opinion is somewhat different from the usual. I don't see a cargo vest as a versatile article of clothing. If it's too cold why not to wear the same kind of jacket? If it's too hot why do you need to wear the vest with your tee and shorts? So for me it is more of a decorative element, because it doesn't add any benefit to the outfit, except for camping or safari-hunting.
I didn't buy a cargo vest for a long time, but this spring some madness overcame my mind and I bought one, so now you'll be tortured with my cargo vest outfits pics:) because I challenged myself to come up with at least 5 different looks wearing it and have fun styling it away! I hope you will enjoy my ideas too:)

Style guide: Layer a cargo vest over a lace top when wearing a maxi skirt and add a watercolor scarf to complete the look.

Floral mood #4

This is the fourth (technically #3) Floral Moods post. Here you can see all of my "Floral Moods".

I used the same top in the "Floral Mood # 2", but as you can see more clearly here, this is a cropped top. A good thing about the crop tops style of 2014, it's not worn the same way as the crop tops from the beginning 2000's. You don't need to show off your belly button. If you really want to follow this trend and can’t remember the last time you did an abdominal exercises (unless you count the time you had to stretch really far to reach the snacks at the end of your couch) you still don’t have to give up the crop tops trend.
It's enough (as if it by accident) to show a small hint of skin just above the high waisted skirt.
As a second way of participating in the crop tops trend, if you're not wanting to show even a sliver of skin you always can layer it over a longer top.

Travel Fashion

Finally, after a multistop trip is over, I'm back home and can share some of the outfits that I wore the past two weeks.
I started my vacation in Boston where the weather was pretty cold,
