Inspiration Monday
For this inspiration Monday photo from Two Birds is Sienna Miller.
Her knee-length Burberry leopard-print silk dress could have been in danger of looking a little frumpy, but the actress added a fluffy cream cardigan, which gave here a more boho and weather-appropriate look. Then she polished her outfit with complimentary black tights and black Mary Jane heels. Sienna pulled her hair back into a high bun and brightened up her face with a bright red lipstick.

Today was cold enough for me to use my oldest winter jacket. I made it about fifteen years ago and had been really sick of wearing this jacket for such a long time. I think this "sheep" rested in my closet for the last four years.

What do you wear when you only have an hour before an unexpected trip to the theater?
Just remix things that you have worn these past two weeks.
Do you remember my boxy jacket, rain coat, and dress that I wore for a friend`s birthday party?.....black tights from inspiration Monday, and of course my favorite scarf. These shoes are always on my rack.
VOILĂ€!
We saw the Broadway show "Elf". I loved it! Ho-Ho-Ho! Christmas spirit here!

matte vs sheer tights
You know the rule: DON’T wear sheer tights. It’s not summer, so we shouldn't be seeing your legs.
I
heard fashion editors give Katie Holmes a big NO!, but everyone liked Miranda Kerr wearing sheer tights shorts and skirts.
What heck are the differences between those two celebrities?.. One of them is being a big style icon?
So this is my version of matte vs sheer tights. Which one do you like more?

Inspiration Monday
Today is Inspiration Monday. I am linking up with Two Birds for this challenge. Today our inspiration is
Miranda Kerr. Her killer off-duty outfits are applauded by countless style blogs for their mix of sex appeal, sportiness, and elegance. A "Glamour" fashion editor said, " this is one of her genius outfit ideas: dress up a denim skirt with a blazer and you need to try it on!"
Personally, I like the first look more than the second one.
But anyway...oops! I don't own a jean skirt but I have some denim shorts. So my outfit looked more like this one.

I wore a jacket with a fur vest instead of a coat.

Inspiration Monday
Today's Inspiration Monday photo from Two Birds is an Australian model. She wore this outfit to walk her dog. I kinda like the gap in her teeth.
First of all, this is what I saw on Jessica Hart's picture.. a light trench-coat, flats and a sweater, a dark denim and button up shirt. It's a pretty simple and classy look. Then I checked my closet - actually I know I don't own any light trench coat (it's been on my wish list for a long time). I don't know if I really will buy one because I'm more of a cardigan person; not a jacket and coat person. Someday, maybe I'll have enough money to buy Burberry's trench coat, then I'll wear it all spring and fall long. But right now I own one black rain coat and I don't remember when I wore it last.
Also, my skinny jeans are not tight and not cropped on the ankles, so I decided to use the sneakers instead of the flats.
More on the list of "needed" things: some standard round crew neck sweaters. Almost all of mine have turtleneck or v-neck line.So for me, this week's Monday inspiration was all about taking out and wearing my black "trench", or more accurately, the rain coat.

Another Sunday outfit
Right at that moment when a sunny day turns into a rainy one.
My two favorite things:
1) The silk+cashmere scarf that I bought at a thrift store for $1.99. It has a Hermes label and stamp, but I'm pretty sure it's fake. I never heard of a Hermes scarf with no pattern.
2) My new aviator glasses have blue frames and they match the scarf's blue.

Inspiration Monday on Thursday
A few days ago I found a Two Birds blog link with kind of an interesting
idea - Inspiration Monday. Every week they pick and post a picture for
inspiration. Then every Monday, you can post the link to your version of
the inspiration on their post. For this Monday they picked Freida Pinto
(of Slum Dog Millionaire). She wore some colors and patterns and fringe
from the "Isabel Marant for H&M" collection (the line won't be
available in stores until November 14th).
So I just saw a new possibility for my boxy jacket and I decided to borrow the look from the Two Birds Inspiration Monday. Of course it's desirable to wear on Monday what they posted and what inspired you, but this outfit not very good for November`s weather (even if outside is 60 degrees). You need to live in southern California to wear it this month. Of course it's not for an everyday occasion.I don't have too many patterned skirts in my closet so I just went in the opposite direction. I used a plain natural color skirt and patterned blouse. Also, I added a pink jewelry piece accent to refresh the look.

boxy jacket
InStyle November issue -gathering of 8 boxy jackets:The article just
reminded me that I have had one boxy jacket in my closet for a long
time. I wore it just a few times, with narrow black pants.
You know that this iconic jacket is a must-have investment piece. This type of cardigan jacket, which has been around since the 1920s, never goes out of style. Boxy jackets may seem challenging because of their shorter lengths, broader shoulders and single or double-breasted styling. The jackets run the risk of making shorter or full-figured gals look dumpy. Figure flaws? Who cares? You’re covered with a perfect hug at the shoulders, which makes this straight silhouette hang just right. So go and feel powerful and confident!
THE OUTFIT
A matching suit? Let's talk!
A tweed jacket works well with a turtleneck, jeans, and heels. At night, metallic looks cool with sleek black pants and pumps.
Some other editors offer advice to pairing boxy jackets with tailored skirts (pleated or pencil) or narrow trousers.
The boxy jacket is one trend that doesn’t need to be toned down for work. In fact, the conservative-chic cut means you can afford to amp up the rest of your outfit — they recommend a little sheer chiffon and downright sexy sandals.
Still it's hard to look modern, not old-fashioned in it.
It's just funny, for my first Sunday outfit look I used at least three more trends: 1) a skinny turtle neck; 2) shiny metallic; 3) pointy toy shoes. All the best at once:))

Hello November! It's hard to believe that it is already here.
I wanted to say "Hello" to all of my followers but I just started my blog....so I'm here alone.
