Classic Jacket

Same as my last  post here, I'm posting outfits for two days - Monday & Tuesday.
The repeat item from Sunday to Monday was a pair of socks.
If you’re trying to figure out what’s going on, read about the remix challenge here.

Menswear Inspired

One more outfit that was inspired by the men's fashion of 1910's & 1920's, and the British TV series 'Downton Abbey', or maybe  "The Great Gatsby' movie, or any other movie about those decades. Since it is just an inspirational outfit, I don't do an exact copycat of men's outfits from that era. I'm only borrowing some of the details.

Borrowed from Men

Continuing the theme of outfits that were inspired by men's characters' clothing from the British TV series 'Downton Abbey'.
A previous 'Downton Abbey' post can be seen here. Regarding that posting, I wasn't sure what inspired me more - the menswear from the British TV series or the Ralph Lauren F/W 2012 collection based on that drama. This time I even thought about King Edward VIII's clothing.

Fashion Dreams about English hunting grounds

This is for any of my readers who remember my series of posts based on the 'Mad Men' movie's women characters' costumes.
Maybe it's time for something new, and now I want to use a collective image of the 'Downton Abbey' men's characters' clothes. Actually I can not even say what made a greater impression on me; the menswear from the British TV series or the Ralph Lauren F/W 2012 collection based on that drama.

So here I'm pretending that I'm hunting in the English countryside ...I was tempted to take a gun from our safe for greater reliability and authenticity but I chose not to complete the hunter look.
