Side-Slit Dress with Wide Pants

I love my relatively new zippered side-slit dress...I mean, is it a dress, a tunic, or both? Now that we’re getting a few chillier days, I took full advantage of unzipping the extra high slit and wearing the dress as a tunic with a pair of wide legs pants. If you want to see how I wore this dress as a dress you can check this post.

Inspiration Monday: Vest + Tank Top

This time for Inspiration Monday I'm going with Kate Hudson in a red vest paired with distressed jeans. This outfit caused a lot of negative comments because her saggy-ass jeans were paired with hot Christian Louboutin ‘Air Chance’ slingback pumps and a sophisticated vest. Most people don't like a mix of luxury polished and trashy items. I don't know what to say; I kind of like the combo of the opposing styles.
Anyway, I was more impressed with the vest and tank top combination.
Since I don't have any bright vests I decided to swap the colors and put on a tweed vest with neon-orange jeans. Next time (because I love the feeling that the vest covering the tank-top gave me...I didn't have to think about the bra straps crawling out of the tee!)
I would like to try a vest + tank top outfit with distressed jeans...and then I will be more confident if a classy vest can go with distressed jeans.

A Folk Sweatshirt

I'm just thinking about starting a new "all summer challenge". We will probably live in Hawaii in September, and when you are moving from a four season state in a solid-summer-all-year-round state you need to find what you actually wear the most. Since the new residence has limited  space I definitely need to cut the amount of my clothes. So this "all summer challenge" will be really hard for me, because I love to keep my old clothes in case I'd like to wear them again one day .
So I planned to start this challenge on June 1, but our weather  today is not very much like summer - it's raining and only 54 degrees...but I started this challenge anyway.
