Side-Slit Dress with Wide Pants

I love my relatively new zippered side-slit dress...I mean, is it a dress, a tunic, or both? Now that we’re getting a few chillier days, I took full advantage of unzipping the extra high slit and wearing the dress as a tunic with a pair of wide legs pants. Inspiration Monday

I'm back to Inspiration Monday. About year ago  I found a Two Birds blog link with kind of an interesting idea - Inspiration Monday. Every week they pick and post a picture for inspiration. Then you can post the link to your version of the inspiration on their post. For today our inspiration was Jennifer Aniston, who wore a plaid dress with black coat, and opaque tights with knee-high boots.
Since I don't have a checkered dress I switched it for a striped one and added over-the-knee boots.
In this outfit I went to my mother-in-law's birthday.
