Those who live north the equator have started transitioning into fall in one way or another.
I’m personally not ready for fall and fall clothes. I checked my autumn items in the closet and I'm glad that I can still wait to dust them off.
It is still essentially summer here in Connecticut; outside is about 75-80 degrees.
This past weekend when we went out, I decided to wear some of my summer pieces, but style them in a way to end up with a transitional look. I've put together a few of my thoughts and ideas. So I wore neon-orange jeans with a white-red stripes top - I think both of these items have typical spring or summer colors. This combo can easily be taken into early autumn, when I styled them with fall type pieces such as this lightweight sweater and peep-toe booties, both in natural color.
I think for this look at least, I deserve not just a ribbon, but a medal, so I pinned it on my chest (just not in the usual place).
