A Folk Sweatshirt

I'm just thinking about starting a new "all summer challenge". We will probably live in Hawaii in September, and when you are moving from a four season state in a solid-summer-all-year-round state you need to find what you actually wear the most. Since the new residence has limited  space I definitely need to cut the amount of my clothes. So this "all summer challenge" will be really hard for me, because I love to keep my old clothes in case I'd like to wear them again one day .
So I planned to start this challenge on June 1, but our weather  today is not very much like summer - it's raining and only 54 degrees...but I started this challenge anyway.

In contrast to the gloomy weather today, I wore a pair of white jeans and a sweatshirt with the Belarussian National Pattern. I'm a native of Belarus, so when I saw this sweatshirt on a Chinese retail site I wanted to buy it as reminder of my homeland. I also though it's really hard to wear a real folk piece in modern life but a folk sweatshirt could be totally wearable, so I purchased it in November and expected to receive the order before Christmas. I waited and waited, and waited  for a couple of months and didn't hear from the seller at all. Next I wrote a letter to cancel the order and totally forget about this purchase.. Suddenly last week I received this sweatshirt, so it took 7 months to get this item.

I found that for some reason I couldn't reply to a comment on my own blog. My reply button just disappeared. I want to let you know that I always appreciate the time out of your day for visiting my blog and every comment that you leave here. I can't thank you enough,

Love the pink! I think it's definitely a good way to dress for the cooler weather by you, yet still be appropriate for spring!

I love the pattern on that top! How fun that it reminds you of home. Your pink is such a fun contrast to the white. Moving to such a different climate will be a challenge clothing wise. I's sure you are up for it!
